Subject Credit Explained
Some certifications are eligible for more than one subject’s worth of credit or in some cases are worth double credit points. All subjects listed are worth 8 credit points unless otherwise specified.
Credits listed with the subject code XYC01C (8), ITI01C (8) and ITI01C (16) are generic credits that can only be used for ITM subjects in Group B Electives.
This credit finder helps students and prospective students find credit (also known as Recognition of Prior Learning, or RPL) they may be eligible for, which can save valuable time and money in completing their studies. IT Masters and CSU work to maximise the amount of recognition our students receive for their previous hard work.
These pages list the most common ways students can receive credit but are not exhaustive; complete a personalised credit assessment to confirm your credit.
Note: These credit maps are for students commencing in 2024. If you are a current student who enrolled in 2023 or earlier please contact us to receive customised credit information.
It’s important to note that the information on credits is correct at the initial time of publication, and that certificates may be changed or updated without warning to IT Masters. IT Masters is regularly updating and recertifying changed certifications when we become aware of them, but cannot guarantee the timeliness and accuracy of the credit. Please always check with us before assuming credit applies.
