Applications and Admissions

The online application form generally takes around 15 minutes to complete. Once submitted your application will be received by CSU and processed by IT Masters, so if you need to follow up on your application be sure to get in contact with the ITM Admissions Team.

Entry Requirements
If you don’t have any formal or tertiary qualifications you may still be able to gain entry to a Graduate Certificate through your professional experience and industry certifications. At IT Masters we have a dedicated Eligibility Officer to help you answer the question ‘Am I Eligible?‘
Completing a Graduate Certificate with IT Masters will make you eligible to move on to a Masters, we’ve mapped this out on our page your journey to a Masters.

To gain entry to a Masters degree you will need to hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited Australian tertiary institution. However, as outlined on our page your journey to a Masters you can become eligible for a Masters by completing a Graduate Certificate.
If you’re unsure if you meet these entry requirements you can get in touch with our Eligibility Officer here to help you assess whether or not you meet the entry requirements for a Masters, as an added bonus, if you hold any Industry Certification they’ll be able to help you assess whether you can start the course with credit awarded – this can drastically reduce the cost and time associated with post-graduate study. Fees & Payment Options
You can learn more about course fees and other expenses associated with studying with IT Masters and CSU here.
There are many payment options for students and we can help you find the one that works for you and walk you through the process.
The fees listed are for 2025 and are subject to change. CSU Alumni are eligible for a 10% discount on these fees.
Domestic students
Australian or ‘domestic’ students are those who are Australian citizens or permanent residents.
Fees for Australian students are $4050 AUD per 8-point subject for Graduate Certificates and Masters courses.
International students
Non-Australian residents studying either in or outside Australia.
Fees for International students are $4294 AUD per 8-point subject for Graduate Certificates and Masters courses.
Funding & Scholarships
We understand that one of the biggest obstacles to post graduate studies can be fees, so to help with this Charles Sturt University awards more than $3 million in scholarships and grants to students every year. On top of this, there are often opportunities for students to apply for funding programs initiated by the Australian Government and the Australian Defence Force.

Credit & Eligibility
Credit can be awarded for prior Post Graduate studies, Industry Certifications, ACS Certifications, and our Free Short Courses and can be a great way to shorten your course and reduce your course fees.
