How does online post graduate education work? What should you expect from a masters or graduate certificate course? How much study time is required to get through the course? What’s the student experience like?

These and a myriad of other burning questions will be answered on Thursday October 31st (yes Halloween, but it’s not scary) between 7 and 8.30PM Sydney time when IT Masters host our first online open evening.

It will be a chance to speak with: mentors in all our course areas, course advisors, admissions staff and current/former students on one convenient online session. There will be a number of short presentations with breakout rooms by subject and question areas.

Registration for this webinar is now closed. You can view the recording here

How will the session work?

When you join the zoom meeting you will arrive in our main room, where a number of short presentations will be given by people ranging from our CEO Chantelle Hale, to our mentors, students and representatives from Charles Sturt.

From there you can elect to listen, or to join one of the many breakout rooms hosted by the ITM team such as:

  • Admissions (to check what you may need to provide in terms of documents etc, and talk about course mapping options)
  • Course Advisors (2 rooms so you can have a good chat about what you would like to achieve)
  • Eligibility and Credit (find out if your industry certifications are approved for credits in our degrees).
  • Cyber Security – speak to one of our mentors who teaches in this dynamic field
  • Cloud and Networks – speak to one of our cloud and networking mentors
  • Projects and Management – our management and PM guru will be there!
  • The student experience – ask questions of some of our students, find out what it’s really like to study post grad!

All in all it’s going to be a packed 90 minutes or so of questions and answers, and will show you what its really like to embark on your post grad journey with IT Masters and Charles Sturt.
