Embarking on a postgraduate journey is a significant step towards advancing your career. With IT Masters and Charles Sturt University (CSU), you can access affordable online postgraduate courses that are flexible and fully online, designed to fit around your lifestyle. Whether you’re aiming to specialise in IT, project management, or digital marketing, understanding the financial aspects is crucial.

💰 Making Affordable Online Postgraduate Study a Reality

Affordable online postgraduate courses offered through IT Masters and CSU are competitively priced, with fees starting from $4,050 per subject . These are full-fee paying courses, but several financial assistance options are available:

  • FEE-HELP & HECS-HELP: Eligible Australian citizens can defer tuition fees through these government loan schemes.
  • Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs): Available for select postgraduate courses, CSPs reduce the cost of study by having the government subsidise part of your tuition fees .
  • Alumni Discount: If you’ve previously completed a course with IT Masters, you’re entitled to a 10% discount on full-fee postgraduate courses, including masters degrees

Payment methods are flexible, including BPAY, credit card, and direct debit. It’s important to note that BPAY payments require overnight processing to arrive at CSU.

📌 Commonwealth Supported Places

There are currently four affordable online postgraduate graduate certificates that are eligible for CSP

If you’d like to get in touch with one of our course advisors regarding any of the above courses, be sure to fill in the enquiry form on the course page of your choosing. Hint: you can use the mini menu at the top of the page to jump straight to the enquiry form section.

📝 eCAF and FEE-HELP

If you are planning on applying for FEE-HELP, when the time comes, you can go to the CSU Student Self Service portal and complete an electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form (eCAF) to defer your fees.

You’ll need to submit your eCAF or make payment for your fees before the census date on of your session or term which is usually week four or three. To learn more about FEE-HELP visit www.studyassist.gov.au and their FEE-HELP information.

Did you know you can also defer fees in CSP? Whilst CSP drastically reduces your subject fees there’s still the student contribution to manage. If you’re not in a position to pay these fees up-front you’ll be able to defer them to a HECS-HELP loan when submitting your eCAF.

🎓 Scholarships and Funding Opportunities

CSU is committed to making higher education accessible, awarding over $3 million in scholarships and grants annually. Scholarships are available for various student categories, including:

  • TAFE to University Pathways: Supporting students transitioning from vocational education.
  • Rural or Remote Students: Assisting those from regional areas.
  • International Students: Offering scholarships and grants tailored for international enrollees.

Additionally, IT Masters occasionally offers single-subject scholarships. Keep an eye on our news page for announcements or subscribe to be notified.
