This course will cover the initial topics of the Agile Project Management subject run by Charles Sturt University (Australia) which is part of their Masters program, delivered by IT Masters. It is a small section (about one third) of a Masters-level subject. This means that you will gain exposure to some of the more complex background ideas, and not just the simple ‘how-to’ content that is usually found within corporate training programs.

Course Information
Who will present the webinars?
Kelsey van Haaster: Kelsey is currently leading a team of business analysts who are working closely with the development team to implement Agile approaches, tools and techniques such as SCRUM, user stories and wire framing. A Business Analyst with more than 10 years working on a range of web based desktop development projects, Kelsey will share her experiences from Agile projects. In her “spare” time from her demanding career and raising a family, Kelsey is studying for her Doctorate where she is researching “What distinguishes an Agile project from other projects in terms of how requirements are discovered, delivered and recorded?”.
Brenton Burchmore: Brenton is our senior industry based Project Manager Lecturer. He was initially contracted to develop the industry subjects in our Graduate Certificate in Professional Sales, but has now branched out and running Project Management subjects. During 2000 – 2007, Brenton employed and trained a team of project managers for an IT company in Sydney implementing national VPN solutions. He also oversaw the replacement of the business workflow, provisioning and project management software whilst re-engineering all the project-related processes and replacing all policy procedures relating to this. Since then he has provided ad-hoc project management training to national companies like HiFert and ANZ Bank, whilst also managing a number of large scale and long term projects.
